Undeniably, the remake of the well-acclaimed series “Pangako Sa ‘Yo’ has again captured the heart of tele-viewers, the worldwide trend on Twitter proved it as the series started to air last night.
The highly anticipated premiere topped trends both worldwide and national.
The ABS-CBN’s modern retelling led fans to express their excitement and praises on twitter.
The former “Yna” Kristine Hermosa gave a simple message for Kathryn Bernardo who is now taking on the iconic role which she played in the original version.
On Instagram, Hermosa congratulated the young actress for getting the role and also wished Bernardo good luck.
“Hi Kath! Congrats. Galingan niyo. Magpakabait ka and be wise. Okay?” she said.
Bernardo who earlier said she feels pressured for the series remake assured fans to give justice in her role.
The young actress also wished Kristine Hermosa and Jericho Rosales would both love the remake.
“Hindi ko naman siya gustong tapatan. Gusto ko lang na once na mapanood siya ni Ms. Kristine Hermosa and Jericho Rosales, magiging happy sila kasi hindi namin sila na-upset. Excited ako. Sana magustuhan nila,” she said.
