Though the Warriors maintained a tough play in aim to finish the elimination early, a major injury scare to NBA MVP Stephen Curry seemed to lighten their control.

The rockets pumped out an early lead as Curry went down in the second quarter of the Game Four in the Western Conference Finals.

The once raucous Houston home crowd turned silent as Curry fell hard on his upper back and neck after flipping over the back of Rockets forwards Trevor Ariza.

Warrior’s star point guard left the fame with a head contusion yet surprisingly returned with about six minutes left in the third game after finding out he had not suffered a concusion.

But his return wasn’t able to raise the momentum of the game as the Rockets cleared the road to win secured by James Harden who contributed 45 points and nine rebounds.

Pulling to 3-1 down in the best-of-seven series, Rockets ensured they would live to fight another day.

Curry’s 23-point effort wasn’t enough while Klay Thompson led the warriors with 24.

Next game is set on Wednesday at Oakland.
