May 2015 CPA Board Exam Top Performing & Performance of Schools

The Professional Regulation Commission announced on Thursday, May 21, 2015 the official results of the May 2015 Certified Public Accountants Licensure Examination or more popularly known as the CPA Board Exam. The results was released after three (3) working days from the last day of examination.

The PRC announced that a total of 2,132 out of 5,959 passed the Certified Public Accountant Licensure Examination given by the Board of Accountancy in the cities of Manila, Baguio, Cagayan De Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo and Legazpi this May 2015.

Topping the list of the Top Performing Schools in the recently concluded CPA Board Exam conducted by the Board of Accountancy are the University of San Carlos in Cebu City with 88.06% passing rate which ranked No. 1 in the list followed by De La Salle University-Manila which ranked at No.2 with a percentage ratings of 81.18%.

Aside from the list of Top Performing and Performance of Schools, the PRC also announced the scheduel of Registration for the issuance of Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration which will be on May 27, 28 & 29, 2015.

For those who will register they are required to bring the following:

  • duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal, current Community Tax Certificate (cedula),
  • 1 piece passport size picture (colored with white background and complete nametag),
  • 2 sets of metered documentary stamps and 1 short brown envelope with name and profession
  • pay the Initial Registration Fee of P600 and Annual Registration Fee of P450 for 2015-2018.
  • Successful examinees should personally register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals.

The date and venue for the oathtaking ceremony of the new successful examinees in the said examination WILL BE ANNOUNCED LATER.
