Following the colleague’s claim that her father, Vice-President Jejomar Binay would eventually withdraw from the 2016 presidential race, Senator Nancy Binay mocked the claim and broken her silence.
Binay aired her side to the reporters when asked about Senator Antonio Trillanes IV’s earlier claim that her father would withdraw his presidential bid.
“Nakakalungkot kasi imbes na ipagdasal niya ‘yung mga kababayan natin na nangangailangan e kung baga, ano ‘yun, mapabuti ‘yung buhay nila. I think pinagdadasal niya na ‘Lord, please, huwag nang tumakbo si Vice para may pag-asa ako!’” Binay Said.
Trillanes, who earlier said he will run as Vice president in 2016, is pushing the Senate investigation into the alleged corruption against the VP.
“Kailangan by default para manalo sila? Bakit, ‘di ba? Magpakitaan kayo kung ano ang nagawa ninyo at kaya ninyong gawin. Hindi ‘yung mananalo ka kasi ‘yung kalaban mo e kung baka e tinechnical mo at hindi dahil dun sa pinakita mo kung ano ‘yung kakayahan mo” Senator Binay said.
Meanwhile, the Vice President repeatedly denied the allegations being hurled at him, concluding that the critics are politically motivated.
