Following his withdrawal from the popular British boy band One Direction on March, Zayn Malik fired back at former co-member Louis Tomlinson on Twitter after nasty exchanges between his new producer and former mate.
The twitter feud began when Shahid Khan, Malik’s new producer, posted as “Naughty Boy” a photo of him and Malik with the caption, “Replace this”.
The caption was allegedly taken as reference to reports that One Direction might find a replacement for Malik soon.
Tomlinson took by twitter what seemed to be his reaction to Naughty Boy’s photo editing skills.
“Remember when you were 12 and you used to think those Mac filters for your pictures were cool haha! Some people still do HA!” he tweeted.
Khan then replied to his tweet posting: “some people can’t even sing,”
Tomlinson fired back posting, “How does it feel to be riding on the back of someone else’s career?”
The exchange of tweets became even intense as Malik replied to the tweets firing to Tomlinson.
“Remember when you had a life and stopped making (–foul word(s) removed–)y comments about mine?” he posted.
However, instead or replying to Malik, Tomlinson lowered down and commented on the other tweet of the producer.
