PRC Names 884 New Electrical Engineers, 1,134 New Master Electricians

884 out of the 1,886 examinees were named as the new Registered Electrical Engineers (REE) while 1,134 out of 2,705 examinees were named as new Registered Master Electricians (RME) following the April exam as the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) has released the results.

The PRC on Thursday said the results for the Electrical Engineer Licensure Examination were released two working days after the last day of the test, which was held in Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legazpi and Lucena.

PRC is requiring the passers to register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals. PRC also announced that the professional identification card and certificate of RME’s will be released on May 11 while that of the REE’s will be on may 12.

Meanwhile topping the list of best performing schools was Batangas State University with 40 or more electrical engineer licensure examinees with a passing rate of 90.91 percent, 40 passed out of 44.

While De La Salle University in Lipa, Batangas topped the spot with 50 or more RME licensure examinees having 83. 54 percent in which 66 passed out of 79.
