Over the weekend, so-called unidentified flying object (UFO) was sighted in Pampanga and was even taken footage yet after studies and investigations, a Philippine astronomical organization has said it was something else.
The video footage which was shared earlier shows the bizarre lights appearing in the Pampanga night sky Sunday, bothering everyone who saw the video including the PAG-ASA.
People have different reactions over the which seemed to appear as bizarre lights but Philippine Astronomical Society (PAS) board chairman Engr. Camilo Dacanay, said that the “dancing lights” seen lighting up the skies in Pampanga could be a drone being tested by either the military or a private individual.
“Drones, just like guns in the US, can now be purchased easily,” Dacanay said.
Chief Supt. Ronald Santos, Police Regional Office 3 officer-in-charge, also echoed Dacanay’s observation.
“Thinking that we have this Balikatan exercises, these could be military drones doing some surveillance or testing… the way I see it, there is nothing stunning there. I don’t consider this as UFO as well.”
Meanwhile, the chief superintendent assured the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Association will come out with a report regarding the “strange lights”, therefore added that there is nothing to be worried for.
