Team Philippines raised banner as it bagged a silver and two bronze medals in the recently concluded 2015 International Cheer Union (ICU) World Cheerleading Championships at the Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, Florida.
The Philippines all out performance placed second in the All Girl Elite division and third in the Coed Elite division and the Team Cheer Hip Hop event.
After winning the UAAP cheer dance tilt, NU pep squad conquered bigger dance spot in the Coed Elite while Miriam College’s Sayawatha dance troupe in the Cheer Hip Hop.
The Philippines’ All Girls Elite team was step behind New Zealand, the gold medalist. The NU Pep Squad in the other hand was upset by Mexico and Chile, gold and silver respectively in the Coed Elite.
The Cheer Hip Hop squad went after USA and Japan.
