Longest, Heaviest ‘Bangus’ Wins Big

Dagupan City, Pangasinan — In line with the celebration of “2015 Bangus Festival Bangus Rodeo” held Friday in front of the city museum, Marilyn Camacho of Pugaro Suit won have the heaviest and longest bangus.

Camacho for the second win since last year brought the heaviest “bangus” weighing 410 kilograms while the longest recorded an official length of 76 centimeters, which was also achieved by Camacho.

For the two categories, Camacho won a total cash prize of P 30, 000 aside from winning trophies.

Nagz Oviedo of Pantal-Patalan winning P 10, 000 came second for the Longest Bangus category and Sandrell Bryan Caneng of Pantal West landed at third place with P 5, 000 having 72 centimeters and 71 centimeters, respectively.
