In a supposed to be promotional interview for Avengers: Age of Ultron which is about to hit cinemas soon, star Robert Downey Jr. walked out during the interview in Channel 4.
When Krishnan Guru-Murthy asked some rather personal questions about family and past, Downey Jr. became uncomfortable.
The interviewer asked the actor about the comment he made to the New York Times referring to his political views while he was in prison.
“I wouldn’t say that I am a Republican, a liberal, or a Democrat. … I was talking to the person who was doing the interview that day, and that just happened to be my opinion.”, Downey Jr. said.
Downey Jr. gave cue of putting the interview to a close. Referencing the renowned news anchor whose questions began to focus on his past life, Downey Jr. said that the interview is getting a little Diane Sawyer.
