The movie industry seems to experiment, pairing actors in pursuit of characters that will capture the moviegoers. One way to know if a particular tandem is a hit is through the big screen.
Over time the movie industry came up with hit tandems like Bea Alonzo and John Llyod Cruz, Kim Chiu and Gerald Anderson, among others. While there came also shifts like pairing Kim to Xian Lim and John Lloyd Cruz to Sarah Geronimo, but both still making blockbuster hits.
Now comes another fresh tandem, well-anticipated one, that features award winning actor Piolo Pascual and the Popstar Royalty Sarah G.
The team up came about sometime before and both sides are happy that the movie was pursued.
Meanwhile in an interview, the singer-actress Sarah G gave details about their upcoming movie “The Break Up Playlist”.
“Ako ay isang aspiring musician na artist, tapos si Papa P siya yung mas-established na artist na parang naging mentor ko. Kung paano nabuo ‘yung love story, kung paano umikot doon sa music, ‘yun ang makikita natin,” Geronimo said.
Surely what the fans expect from the love team has been materialized to produce another hit tandem and blockbuster movie.
