Kapamilya actress Kim Chiu has finally spoken and aired her personal reactions on the breakup of her ex-boyfriend Gerald Anderson and ertswhile best friend Maja Salavador. In an interview with ABS-CBN, the actress-turned singer asked the public to just respect the privacy of Gerald and Maja Salvador.
Kim Chiu told reporters on the sidelines of a press conference for her album “Chinita Princess,” the actress was quoted as saying “Wala na po ako diyan. Siguro it’s their decision, nasa kanila ‘yan and they are asking for respect and privacy so ibigay nating yon,” Kim Chiu said.
The 25-year-old Kim Chiu also stressed and clarified that she is in good terms with Maja Salvador, despite the fact that they previously engaged in heated arguments with their relationship to Gerald Anderson.
The media also asked the actress, of what she will do if Maja Salvador will come to her to seek comfort, Kim Chiu noted that Maja is strong enough to face the breakup and she got so many friends to comfort her. She was quoted “Alam ko naman strong siya, kaya alam kong kaya niya ‘yon,” Chiu replied. “Kaya niya ‘yan. Sobra siyang strong at madami siyang friends na happy na nakapaligid sa kanya.”
Kim Chiu was also asked of a possible reunion project with Gerald Anderson but the actress replied that she should be promoting her album first than thinking of a possible project with her former boyfriend.
