Paul Lee Ready to Play in Game 4 of PBA Finals After Dental Procedure

Gilas Pilipinas mainstay Paul Lee is now ready to return in the hard court after he lost his front tooth by the sheer force of Ivan Johnson’s elbow during the Game 2 of the Best-of-Seven Finals series against Talk ‘N Text Tropang Texters. The Rain or Shine Elasto Painters is now aiming for a commanding 3-1 series lead.

Paul Lee Toothless

According to Rain or Shine physical therapist JD Calinawan said that Paul Lee underwent a simple dental procedure at the Cardinal Santos Medical Center to get his two other front teeth fixed after these got pushed up to his gums.

Dr. Mike Tan reparied the tooth and gums of Paul Lee, the doctor is best known in repairing complicated cases. He took an x-ray with Paul Lee’s teeth and made an operation with the basketball star’s damaged gums and teeth.

Right after the operation, the Rain or Shine physical therapist was surprised to see the combo guard’s teeth back to normal, considering the weight and force he absorbed after tumbling down hard from Johnson’s hit.

The Best Player of the Conference candidate, Paul Lee was advised by the doctor to rest on Monday and Tuesday, so that he can play on Game 4 of the PBA finals which will be held this coming Wednesday at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.

The 2012 PBA Rookie of the Year will start wearing a mouth guard come Game Four of the best-of-seven finals series against the Talk ‘N Text Tropang Texters.
