Gerphil Flores is Considered as “Asia’s Got Talent” Fiercest Competitor

Filipino classical singer Gerphil Geraldine Flores is considered as one of the fiercest competitor in Asia’s Got Talent after her stint as one of the few acts who earned a semi-finals tickets via “golden buzzer.” Despite being named as one of the golden act in the competition, the Filipino singer prepared so much for the upcoming semi-finals.

The 24-year-old Gerphil Flores returned to the Philippines briefly from Singapore and even took time to sing during the 27th birthday celebration of Manila Mayor Joseph “Erap” Estrada on Sunday at Solaire Resort and Casino in Parañaque.

In an interview with TV Patrol, the Asia’s Got Talent semi-finalist said that she is tempering her expectations following rave reviews from all four judges, especially from the Grammy-winning composer David Foster, who also pressed the golden buzzer.

Gerphil Flores will perform Thursday at Marina Bay Sands in Singapore, along with eight other international acts. According to the Filipino singer, she don’t want to expect but she will definitely try her best after she was named as one of the fiercest competitor in Asia’s biggest talent show.

Aside from Gerphil Flore, who is named as one of the top contenders in AXN’s top-rating show in Asia, the other finalists who were considered as fiercest competitor includes Gao Lin and Lui Xin, acrobat-dancers from China, and Khusugtun, a music ensemble from Mongolia.
