Ara Mina became the first millionaire from the third batch of “Lucky Stars” in Kapamilya, Deal or No Deal, after she decided to kept her briefcase until the end of the game. The former sexy actress made a difficult gamble as the briefcase was down to just P100 and P1 million.
The banker of the top-rating show offered Ara Mina a whopping P355,000 in the last choices of the actress but Ara Mina decided to stick with her chosen briefcase and eventually won the much coveted P1 million prize.
In an interview after the show, Ara Mina who recently admitted that a problem between her and partner Patrick Meneses really exist, noted that before the show’s airing she tried to pray for another blessings especially in terms of her financial aspect.
Ara Mina was quoted as saying “Actually, ilang araw na ako nagdadasal,” an emotional Mina said. “Sabi ko, ‘Lord, alam kong sobrang blessed na ako pero never pa ako naglaro, na na-experience kong manalo ng P1 million. Sana pa-experience niyo po kahit isang beses lang.’ Thank you, Lord!” she said.
The actress joined comedian Bearwin Meilly as one of the second millionaire in the top-rating show. Last month Bearwin Meilly who came from the second batch won P1 million when it was his time to play as a studio player.
