Kid Kulafu Trailer with Manny Pacquiao’s Voice Over Released Online

The film about Manny Pacquiao titled “Kid Kulafu” released the official trailer with a special participation of Manny Pacquiao who delivered the voice over in the highly anticipated movie which aims to reveal Manny’s childhood before he became a boxing icon. The trailer was released by official YouTube account of ABS-CBN.

Before Manny Pacquiao was known in the boxing world as the “Pacman” he used the nickname “Kid Kulafu” during his amateur boxing days in General Santos City. The name “Kid Kulafu” came from the brand of wine Manny Pacquiao collected as a child, which charts his rise from humble beginnings to his first step into the boxing ring.

The director of the movie, director Paul Soriano revealed that Manny is just like every one of us, he was born with nothing, but because of God, because of hard work and faith, he became something.

Paul Soriano noted that he spent two years researching the film, much of it based on a conversation with the 36-year-old Manny Pacquiao who is slated to fight the undefeated boxer Floyd Mayweather Jr. this coming May 2 (May 3 Manila time).

The movie Kid Kulafu will feature Buboy Villar as the Manny Pacquiao, he will join a powerful casts which includes veteran stars Cesar Montano and Alessandra da Rossi.
