Ai-Ai delas Alas made a statement to the media describing Kris Aquino as a “former friend,” following the rift that tarnished their relationship as friend. In an interview with the comedian, during her contract signing with GMA Network on Thursday, Ai-Ai delas Alas admitted that her friendship with Kris Aquino is already different from what it used to be.
The 50-year-old Ai-Ai de las Alas was quoted as saying during the interview “Syempre iba na ngayon. Una sa lahat hindi na kami roommates, magkapitbahay na lang kami, kasi andito na ko (in GMA), nandoon siya (ABS-CBN). Syempre iba na ‘yon. Pero I wish her well (Things are different now. First, we are no longer “roommates,” we are just “neighbors” now because I am already here, and she’s still there. Of course, it’s different. But I wish her well),” Delas Alas said.
Kapamilya actress Kris Aquino and Ai-Ai de las Alas reconciled during Dingdong Dantes and Marian Rivera’s wedding last December 2015.
Although Ai-Ai delas Alas calls Kris Aquino as a “former friend” the comedian dismissed the rumors circulating online that one of the reasons why she left the Kapamilya Network was because of her past misunderstanding with Kris Aquino.
The newly transferred Kapuso star noted that she and Kris Aquino have already patched things up during the wedding of Marian Rivera and Dingdong Dantes.
According to Ai-Ai she already learned her lessons from her past relationship with people and stated that “there is a reason for all the bad things that happened before.” she noted.
