Sen. Grace Poe Nears Binay Popularity in the Latest SWS Survey Results

Senator Grace Poe is now considered as one of the possible successor of Pres. Benigno Aquino III after the latest SWS Survey results was released to the media. The Senator who got the most number of votes during the election, Sen. Grace Poe nears the popularity of Jejomar Binay.

Vice President Jejomar Binay is still considered as the most popular presidential candidate but Senator Grace Poe is now becoming more popular as a possible President in the year 2016.

According to the latest SWS Survey conducted last March 20-23, 2015 which was also published by BusinessWorld, shows that VP Binay’s numbers barely changed from previous presidential poll conducted last November. SWS noted that Binay got 36%, just a percentage point drop from previous SWS survey.

Although Sen. Grace Poe has not yet declared her intention to run in 2016, but his numbers in the SWS poll jump by 10 percentage points to 31%. Based upon the SWS survey, the respondents were not given a list to choose from but instead asked to give names of up to three persons whom they thought should succeed Pres. Aquino.

6. Sen. Bongbong Marcos – 7%
7. Sen. Alan Peter Cayetano – 4%
8. Sen. Manny Villar – 3%
