Las Piñas policeman identified as PO1 Norman Wileman III became the newest singing sensation in the Philippines today as his own rendition of Ed Sheeran’s hit song “Thinking Out Loud” went viral online for the past few days. The newest viral video which is dubbed as “Thinking Out Loud – Pulis Version” became one of the trending topics in the country, garnering thousands of views.
Based upon latest count of shares and views of the viral video, the version of PO1 Norman Wilemann III was already shared by more than 11,000 Facebook users and viewed by more than 350K since it was posted on March 29, 2015.
The singing policeman-turned internet sensation, PO1 Norman Wileman III performed the Ed Sheeran hit song while reading the lyrics of the song through a mobile phone as he was accompanied by a fellow policeman who played the guitar.
According to the Facebook Page of PO1 Wileman, he is a graduate of Bachelor of Science in Criminology at the Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila (PLM).
PO1 Wileman was already featured on national TV via UNTV performing the song popularized by Gary V. titled “Warrior is a Child,” a tribute to the fallen commandos of the PNP Special Action Force (SAF).
