Primetime King Coco Martin will work for the first time with multi-awarded actress Angel Locsin. The two is set to star on the upcoming episode of the country’s longest running drama anthology, “Maalaala Mo Kaya.”
The 33-year-old actor said in interview with ABC-CBN News that he has always wanted to work with the former Kapuso actress.
During his interview, Coco Martin noted that he is also looking forward to have more projects with the 29-year-old actress like television series or a movie.
The upcoming episode of MMK which will premiere at the end of April will commemorate the Special Action Forces (SAF) commandos or the Fallen 44 who were killed in Mamasapano Massacre. Coco Martin will portray the life of one of the SAF commandos.
Aside from Coco Martin and Angel Locsin, former Pinoy Big Brother Big Winner Ejay Falcon will also join on the soap.
Meanwhile, Coo Martin is glad that his movie “You’re My Boss” along with actress/host Toni Gonzaga is doing well in box office. The romantic/comedy movie dominates with 25 million earning just on the first day of nationwide showing. Angel Locsin on the other hand is will anew star on the remake of Darna which will premiere in theaters this year.
