Bearwin Meily First-Ever Millionaire of “Kapamilya, Deal or No Deal”

Bearwin Meily just wanted to show to the audience of “Kapamilya, Deal or No Deal” that he just wanted to play the game and to continue until the end of it, without expecting that at the end he will be rewarded as the first-ever millionaire of the country’s top-rating show “Kapamilya, Deal or No Deal.”

One of the main reason why Bearwin continued his game despite the bankers offer was to entertain the audience, for him, it was not a case of blind confidence that his briefcase had the winning amount of P1 million, but he wants to take a risk and play the game until the very end.

The comedian Bearwin Meily was quoted as saying “Alam niyo guys, sa totoo lang, pera lang ‘yan, palamuti lang ‘yan sa katawan,” Meily said with only three briefcases left to open. “Hindi mo madadala sa hukay ‘yan. So, just the to play the game, no deal.”

During the game, the banker even offered a hefty P614,000 – biggest offer so far this season – the comedian only had P100,000 and P1 million left in play. He kept his briefcase and risked his game to delight the audience until the very end.

The comedian explained after the game why he did not strike a deal with the banker, wherein he was quoted as saying “Nandito ako para maglaro from the very beginning. Binigay lang sa akin ‘tong briefcase na ‘to. Pera lang ‘yan. I want to play.”

Bearwin Meily is part of the second batch of 24 “Lucky Stars” of the ABS-CBN program, which tweaked the global format to have celebrities as briefcase holders who each take his or her turn as a player for the day.
