Maria and Angelica Panganiban discussed the slapping scene, in one of the highly anticipated teleserye remake of the previously top-rating series, “Pangako Sa ‘Yo” which will feature Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla on their return to primetime after their huge success both in TV and movie industry.

Jodi Sta. Maria attended the photo shoot of the teleserye, as she is now back to work after spending time with her boyfriend Jolo Revilla who accidentally shot himself on the chest while cleaning his handgun at his residence in Cavite.
During the Thursday’s photo shoot of Pangako Sa ‘Yo, Jodi Sta. Maria and Angelica Panganiban, the actress Angelica Panganiban who portrays the role of Claudia Evangelist noted that the slapped on her face by Amor Powers (Jodi Sta. Maria) is one of her challenging role ever.
Angelica Panganiban was quoted as saying “Nasampal na ako ni Cherie Gil, Maricel (Soriano ) pero nung sinampal niya ako, ang sakit nun ha,” Panganiban admitted, referring to her slapping scene with Jodi Sta. Maria.
Both Jodi Sta. Maria and Angelica Panganiban vouched that their slapping scenes were all real and not fake. Jodi Sta. Maria stated that “When we were shooting the teaser, grabe ‘yun agad. …Ang feeling namin ay first scene, love scene, ganoon ka-awkward,” Sta. Maria said.
The highly anticipated remake of the popular “Pangako Sa ‘Yo” TV series which is considered as the country’s most successful teleserye ever made and syndicated to various Asian countries as well as in Africa, will air soon on ABS-CBN Primetime.
