Veteran drama actor John Lloyd Cruz shaved his head as he takes on his newest role for an upcoming movie project titled “Honor Thy Father.” John Lloyd Cruz was seen in an Instagram photo posted by Star Cinema online, while filming the highly anticipated movie directed by Eric Matti.
The movie “Honor Thy Father” is about the story of a family who gets involved in a Ponzi scheme which is under the production of ABS-CBN’s Star Cinema. The release of the movie has yet to be announced, but Star Cinema noted that once the filming of their newest movie will be completed they will announce the release date.
Aside from John Lloyd Cruz, the newest Star Cinema movie will also feature Meryll Soriano, who ave been chronicling the movie through her official Instagram account.
Erik Matti, one of the country’s most prominent director will work for the very first time with John Lloyd Cruz on their highly anticipated collaboration. Erik Matti is the award winning director of the internationally-acclaimed movie “On The Job.”
On John Lloyd’s part, he noted that he will be performing in one of his most challenging role ever made in a movie. The Star Magic Batch 5 alumnus last starred in the blockbuster movie “It Takes a Man and a Woman” with Sarah Geronimo.
