Jeric Fortuna Wins PBA All Star Obstacle Challenge 2015

San Miguel Beermen and sophomore guard Jeric Fortuna won the Obstacle Challenge of the 2015 PBA All-Star Game on Friday, March 6, 2015 in Puerto Princesa, Palawan, during the first day of the country’s most popular basketball league, the PBA celebrating its All Star Game dedicated to the fans and followers of the PBA.

Jeric Fortuna clocked in 32.1 seconds in the final round of the PBA All Star Obstacle Challenge 2015 as he bested out Alaska Aces rookie guard Chris Banchero and veteran Jonas Villaueva of the NLEX Road Warriors during the final round.

The former University of Sto. Tomas Growling Tigers, Jeric Fortuna, also logged in 42 seconds during the first round of the competition, the second fastest behind Chris Banchero’s 28 seconds in his first try of the Obstacle Challenge.

Four time Obstacle Challenge Jonas Villanueva gave some advise to Jeric Fortuna during the game. During the final round of the Obstacle Challenge, Jeric Fortuna clocked in 32.1 seconds while his closest competitor, former champion Jonas Villanueva clocked in with 37.7 seconds and Chris Banchero had a terrible time in the finals by clocking in at 44.9 seconds.

Aside from the Trophy and honor as the 2015 PBA All Star Obstacle Challenge Winner, Jeric Fortuna also brought home P60,000 in cash prize.
