Rence Rapanot & Leah Patricio Failed to Make it to Top 2 of The Voice (Video)

Rence Rapanot of Kamp Kawayan (Team Bamboo) and Leah Patricio of Team Lea failed to make it to the Top 2 finalists of the country’s most popular singing competition, The Voice of the Philippines grand finale on Sunday night, March 1, 2015, which was held at the Resorts World Manila.

It was Jason Dy and Alisah Bonaobra from Team Sarah and Team Apl’s night as they were chosen as the top two finishers of the competition. Jason Dy and Alisah Bonaobra headed for the final showdown on Sunday night after they topped the accumulated number of votes during the two-day finale.

Kamp Kawayan’s Rence Rapanot only got 18.02% of the viewers votes while Leah Patricio of Team Lea Salonga got slightly higher compared to Rence with 19.7% votes.

During Rence Rapanot’s first performance on Sunday night, he performed the song “Tayo’y Mga Pinoy” the song popularized by Heber Bartolome followed by his duet with coach Bamboo in the song titled “Hinahanap-hanap Kita.”

Before the Sunday’s episode of The Voice, Rence Rapanot also performed the song “Karaniwang Tao” on Saturday alongside OPM legends Joey Ayala and Bayang Barrios.

Team Lea’s bet on the other hand, Leah Patricio performed an emotional rendition of Whitney Houston’s “Run To You,” on Sunday’s episode of the show. She also performed a duet with her coach Lea Salonga in the song originally popularized by Alanis Morisette titled “You Oughta Know.” During the Saturday’s episode of the finale, Lea Patricio made an intense performance of the song “Muli” together with singer Jed Madela.
