Manny Pacquiao to Sing His Own Entrance Music During the Mayweather Fight

Filipino boxing icon Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao will be singing his own entrance music during the highly anticipated blockbuster bout against the undefeated American boxer, Floyd Mayweather Jr., this coming May 2, 2015 at the MGM Grand Arena, in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA. Manny Pacquiao is also busy with his preparation for his entrance music aside from being busy with his physical conditioning.

The 36-year-old Manny Pacquiao’s preparation of his chosen music for the grand entrance against Floyd Mayweather Jr., got international headlines when it was posted on Fox News citing report from Philippine-based news program GMA News.

According to reports, the future hall of famer, Pacman, spent Thursday night recording the song “Lalaban Ako Para sa Pilipino,” which translates “I am going to fight for Filipinos.”

The new song of Manny Pacquiao was written by veteran singer-songwriter Lito Camo, the composer of another Pacquiao hit song titled “Para sa ‘yo ang Laban na ‘to” (“This fight is for you”) which was used in Manny’s previous fight.

During Manny Pacquiao’s latest boxing fight, he used Katy Perry’s “Roar” for the bout against the American Brandon Rios who was easily defeated by Pacquiao last 2013.

Manny Pacquiao’s announcement of using his own song during the highly anticipated bout against Mayweather caused some online discussions by netizens. Some of the netizens were waiting for Mayweather’s response, of who will be singing during his bout against Pacquiao.

Floyd Mayweather Jr., is known worldwide to have close connections with the likes of superstar singers Justin Bieber and Lil’Wayne.
