Manny Pacquiao a Certified Billionaire After Mayweather Fight in May

The Filipino boxing icon Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao will become a certified Filipino billionaire after just one fight against the undefeated American boxer, Floyd Mayweather Jr., based upon the reported guaranteed share of Pacquiao in the biggest and richest fight in boxing history.

Although the contract is labeled as “Classified,” according to some reports, there’s a cool cash pot of $250 million, from which Floyd Mayweather, getting the bigger lion’s share of $120 million while Manny Pacquiao will receive a whopping $80 million.

Manny Pacquiao will become a certified billionaire after the Mayweather fight as he will secure a roughly P3.5 billion in guaranteed pot money.

Aside from the P3.5 billion share of Manny Pacquiao, he is also expected to earn more especially in the pay-per-view income of the two rival networks, Showtime and Top Rank Pay-Per-View.

Although there’s no official statement yet, from both camps of the guaranteed prize money, Pacquiao’s adviser Mike Koncz noted that everybody could speculate as much as they can.

As of posting time, there is nothing official with regards to the monetary gains of both boxers, unless somebody breaks the code of silence.
