The mayor of Manila, Mayor Joseph Ejercito-Estrada apologized to Kris Aquino on behalf of his daughter Jerika Ejercito who posted her disapproval of Kris Aquino’s reaction after her brother, Pres. Aquino, was bashed online right after his absence at the arrival honors for the slain members of the elite PNP-SAF troopers who were slain in Maguindanao.
The Queen of All Media, Kris Aquino posted on her Instagram account that Manila Mayor Erap Estrada has apologized in behalf of his daughter. Kris Aquion was quoted as saying “He called me at 11:08 PM. Pag hello ko pa lang, nag sorry sya agad, “sorry Kris sa pinagsasabi ng anak ko, ngayon ko lang nalaman, nahihiya ako sa yo, sa pamilya nyo” dinagdag nya na naging mabuti at ma respeto kaming mga magkakapatid sa kanya. 5X nyang inulit yung salitang SORRY, sorry talaga,” Kris Aquino revealed.
Kris Aquino also added further that she replied “president mayor, wala ho kayo dapat ihingi ng tawad sa kin. Okay na okay po tayo… Napakalaking bagay po ng effort nyong tawagan ako. Hindi po kinailangan pero MARAMING SALAMAT PO.” she said.
According to the actress and TV host Kris Aquino, she thanked God for continually teaching her about “respect, about humility, about reaching out, and about personal effort.” she said.
The incident involving Kris Aquino and the Estrada started with Kris expressed her hurt through an Instagram post, but Jerika Estrada seemed to mock the presidential sister’s reaction and called out Kris that “she can’t handle it and she’s a bully.”
