Former contestant of the country’s most popular singing competition, “The Voice of the Philippines,” is now an official member of the American Idol contestant and will join the Hollywood edition of the United States singing competition, the American Idol. Dave Lamar, the former contestant of The Voice passed the audition for American Idol 2015.
The 23-year-old Dave Lamar announced through his official Twitter account that he as passed the audition of “American Idol” and was given the much coveted ticket to the Hollywood round of the competition.
Dave Lamar earned his “golden ticket” to Hollywood from the judges of “American Idol” which will feature him in the next round of the competition.
Although the audition video of Dave Lamar was not shown on TV, the former contestant of The Voice of the Philippines was still grateful for his achievement in the United States.
The Sariaya, Quezon Filipino-American singer first joined the country’s most popular singing competition, The Voice of the Philippines in 2013, joining Team Lea Sarah Geronimo but he was eliminated on his way to the battle rounds of the competitions against veteran singer Junji Arias.
