The world’s largest social networking sites Facebook and their acquired company Instagram briefly suffered a widespread outage on Tuesday afternoon (Manila Time) and netizens took to Twitter to air their dismay with the recent problem experienced by Facebook. As of writing time, Facebook was already back and running.
According to the news report posted by Associated Press, the brief outage affected Facebook users in the United States of America and in most parts of the Asian continent.
During the outage of Facebook, all affected users only got the message: “Sorry, something went wrong. We’re working on it and we’ll get it fixed as soon as we can.”
The other social networking site, Instagram, also took to Twitter to address outage. They noted that they we’re aware with the outage and are working to fix the problem.
