The Twitter trending interview of Vice Ganda to the highest official public official of the country, President Benigno Simeon Aquino III, or more popularly known as President PNoy, showed the lighter side of the President, who is known nationally as a “serious President.” According to the Malacañang Palace, the interview video of Vice Ganda to Pres. PNoy made the people understand the “burdens” of the presidency.

Presidential spokesperson Edwin Lacierda noted that the interview brought out the lighter side of the President and it was positive for the President, and commended Vice Ganda for a job well done. President PNoy sing a song during the interview and even revealed that TV host Grace Lee was his former girlfriend.
The Presidential spokesman was quoted as saying “Vice Ganda brought [out] the lighter side of the President and it was positive and I think people came to empathize with the President on the daily routine, on the burdens of government. I certainly hope that it showed the President, after all, is not always serious,” he stated.
Malacañang also dismissed criticisms against President Aquino’s comments about the suspended Philippine National Police chief Alan Purisima whom the President described as an old friend. During the interview Pres. PNoy praise Purisima for doing his work effectively and without complaint amid allegations that he has ill-gotten wealth.
