One of the VIP inmate at the New Bilibid Prisons, Herbert Colanggo recorded his music video inside the maximum security compound of the country’s largest penitentiary. The music video of Herbert Colanggo was even posted on his official YouTube account and had already gone viral after the controversial convict was involved in the latest raid conducted by the DOJ, NBI and the Special Action Forces of the PNP.

The music video of Herbert Colanggo, features the carrier single, “Pa’no ‘Yon” of his Ivory Records-produced album “Kinabukasan,” which was released last March 2014, he even tied with Kapamilya actor-turned recording artist Richar Yap, as the “New Male Recording Artist of the Year” during the 6th Star Awards for music.
The convicted robbery gang leader, Herbert Colanggo, showcased his singing abilities with his band inside a music studio, which was seen in media reports on the surprise inspection of the NBP’s maximum security compound.
The personal cell of Herbert Colanggo, is just one of the VIP inmates of Bilibid Prison who was allegedly enjoying a lavish lifestyle while serving their jail terms. The inspection team was surprised when they saw that Herbert Colanggco’s cell is capeted and has an air-conditioned second level which supposedly serves as the gang leader’s office.
The inspectors also found six expensive wrist watches inside Herbert Colanggo’s cell, which according to the prisoner are mere donations from friends and politicians particularly his uncle who is a congressman.
Meanwhile the album of Herbert Colanggo, “Kinabukans” was released in March this year, a month after his album’s release, it got gold and platinum records, which were conferred on him during his charity concert event inside the National Bilibid Prison.
