Vice Ganda Calls Kris Aquino a “Goat” in “The Amazing Praybeyt Benjamin” (Video)

Phenomenal comedian and box office king Vice Ganda calls Kris Aquino a “goat” in the latest trailer of his upcoming MMFF-entry movie “The Amazing Praybeyt Benjamin,” as he trades jokes with Bimby Yap. Vice Ganda’s line of calling Kris Aquino a “goat” was part of the response given by the comedian to Bimby Yap when he was called by the young actor, as a “horse.”

The “horse” joke is identified with the box office comedian, Vice Ganda, the star who made a career from a stand-up comedian to an all around entertainer and noontime show host, as part of the “It’s Showtime” family, the show that launched the career of Vice Ganda to phenomenal success.

The 38-year-old Vice Ganda calls Kris Aquino as part of his joke, the Presidential sister is often associated by Vice Ganda to a “goat” in reference to the comedian’s imitation of Aquino’s voice breaking when she turns emotional.

Vice Ganda’s highly anticipated movie “The Amazing Praybeyt Benjamin,” is a sequel to the 2011 box-office hit, “The Unkabogable Praybeyt Benjamin,” one of the top-grossing movies of all time in the Philippines. The latest installment of Praybeyt Benjamin, follows the reluctant-soldier-turned-hero on his new assignment.

Benjie or Benjamin Santos VIII is tasked to look after the son of Richard Yap, a military officer, who noted that the lone genius who can dismantle is his son Bimby Yap. Benie and his allies are in a race against the villain portrayed by GMA actor Tom Rodriguez, who wants to blow up the country with bombs planted across the country.

Aside from Vice Ganda, Richard Yap, Tom Rodriguez and Bimby Yap, joining the cast are Alex Gonzaga, Vandolph Quizon, Nikki valdez, Kean Cipriano, DJ Durano and Ricky Rivero.

The movie was directed by the original Praybeyt Benjamin director, Wenn Deramas and co-produced by Star Cinema and Viva Films. The MMFF-entry movie will join the other entries which include “Feng Shui,” “Shake, Rattle & Roll 14,” “Bonifacio: Ang Unang Pangulo,” “My Big Bossing,” “Kubot: The Aswang Chronicles 2,” “Magnum Muslim .357,” and “English Only, Please.”

The “Amazing Praybeyt Benjamin” will be shown on theaters nationwide starting on Christmas Day, December 25, 2014.
