The winner of the first-ever kids edition of The Voice of the Philippines, Lyca Gairanod and Darren Espanto recorded their respective memorable performances in the singing competition which put the two child wonders to stardom.
Renowned record label MCA Universal has released videos of the recording of Lyca Gairanod’s new version of the highly popular song “Pangarap na Bituin,” while The Voice Kids runner-up Darren Espanto made his own version of “Somebody to Love.”
The 10-year-old Lyca Gairanod first performed the song popularized by Sharon Cuneta titled, “Pangarap na Bituin” during the semifinals of the top-rating singing competition, The Voice Kids Philippines, wherein she was declared as the overall winner.

Meanwhile fellow finalist, the 13-year-old Darren Espanto performed the song “Somebody to Love,” by Justin Bieber, the same song that he previously performed during the grand finals.
Both Lyca Gairanod and Darren Espanto joined their fellow top-six artists in “The Voice Kids,” in the recently concluded concert held at the PICC Plenary Hall in Pasay City, Metro Manila.
