The kapamilya actor Jake Cuenca has reconciled with his Filipino-Australian girlfriend Chanel Olive Thomas few weeks after they broke up. The couple arrived together at the 5th Indie Bravo Awards of Philippine Daily Inquirer on Thursday night December 11, 2014. Star Magic posted also a photo of them on their official Instagram account.
During a press conference for the indie film “Mulat” held recently, the “Ikaw Lamang” actor hinted a possible reconciliation with Chanel Olive Thomas, saying that they are trying to make their relationship work.
“I think, lahat naman ng relationships, may mga obstacles. Life’s not perfect. But what I said kanina, we’re working things out. I’m hoping for the best,” he said.
Jake Cuenca also said that shortly after they broke up, they already started working on their relationship again, adding that he is very thankful to Chanel Olive Thomas for her patience and understanding.
“Shortly after that incident, we started working on the relationship again. We started working things out and you know, I really thank her for all her patience with me. Kasi, I’m a very complicated person. I mean, I’m very hard to understand,” he said.
Jake Cuenca confirms that he is in a two-month relationship with Chanel Olive Thomas in late May. In November, he revealed that they already broke through Twitter by tweeting: “Single again.” He immediately deleted the tweet and did not reveal the reason of their split.
