Richard Yap revealed during an exclusive interview with Anthony Taberna’s show “Tapatan ni Tunying” that he will star in another teleserye in the Kapamilya Channel after the successful two-year run of the hit morning series “Be Careful With My Heart.”
The 47-year-old Richard Yap noted during an interview with Anthony Taberna, that he will take a rest for a month first before the start of his newest teleserye. He was quoted as saying “I will take a rest for a month first. They are thinking of a story for a teleserye for me that may begin in February. They already came up with an idea, but the full story and cast are not yet complete,” he said.
The interview with Tapatan ni Tunying was aired on Thursday, December 11, 2014 at around 4:30 PM. Before the highly anticipated teleserye of Richard Yap, he will showcase his comedic skills as a leading man to Vice Ganda in the MMFF 2014 entry movie “The Amazing Praybeyt Benjamin.”
According to Richard Yap, despite his successful career as one of the most prolific drama actor on Philippine TV, he insists that comedy comes naturally to him, for he loves making other people laugh and even noted that before he was always an “alaskador.”
Aside from the revelation of Richard Yap for his upcoming teleserye with ABS-CBN, he also shared more about his life and career during an interview with Anthony Taberna, the host of “Tapatan ni Tunying.”
