Manny Pacquiao Rises Rankings in RING’s Pound-for-Pound Lists

Eight-Division World Champion Manny Pacquiao rose one spot in the latest rankings of RING’s Pound-for-Pound fighter in the world after his dominant win against challenger and former undefeated American boxer Chris Algieri at the Cotai Arena in Macau last Sunday, November 23, 2014.

Pacquiao Pound for Pound

Based upon the latest ranking released by the world’s most popular magazine and considered as the “Bible” of Boxing, RING, Manny Pacquiao is now at the 3rd, one step higher compared to last issue of Ring’s pound-for-pound ranking.

Manny Pacquiao is now in his 572nd week on the RING Pound-for-Pound elite list. One of the boxer who dropped from its previous higher rankings is the unbeaten super middleweight champion Andre Ward who dropped two spots from No. 2 t0 No. 4, because of his prolonged period of inactivity.

Taking the place of Andre Ward is World heavyweight champion and Ukrainian boxing champion Wladimir Klitschko who ranked No. 2 in the elite list of the best pound-for-pound boxers in the world.

Unbeaten American superstar and the controversial Floyd Mayweather Jr., remained at the No. 1 spot in the Pound-for-Pound list of RING Magazine for his remarkable performance in the past few months.
