Bagyong Queenie Storm Signals & Hourly Updates (November 27, 2014)

The Philippine weather bureau, PAGASA, warned the Filipino public in areas affected by Bagyong Queenie to be vigilant, as Bagyong Queenie maintains its strength putting around 20 areas in Southern Philippines with storm signals. According to PAGASA’s latest weather bulletin released on Thursday morning, November 27, 2014.

Based upon the weather bulletin No. 5 issued by PAGASA at around 5:00 AM, the Tropical Depression Queenie maintained its strength and is now continues to tractk across southern Visayas.

The location of the eye or center of Bagyong Queenie as of 4:00 AM today, was estimated based on available data in the vicinity of Tagbilaran City, Bohol, with maximum winds of 55 kph near the center and forecast to move West Northwest at 24 kph.

Bagyong Queenie is expected to cross Southern Cebu and Negros Oriental this morning and will be over Southern Negros Occidental before noon today. By tomorrow morning, November 28, 2014, it is expected to be at 100 km North of Puerto Princesa City, and at 590 km west northwest of Puerto Princesa City by Saturday morning or outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR).
