Waiting at a train station is considered as one of the most boring parts of most commuter’s lives who relied mostly on public transportation. An unusual gimmick started by some commuters in London while waiting at the subway station, or the underground as they are most commonly called in England, they decided to play Ping Pong without the usual gadgets.
The video which was created by YouTube user Thomas Ryan, became an instant hit online, as it was shared on various sites and watched on YouTube, aside from being featured on the bookmarking site Reddit.
The underground Ping Pong game was captured at the Chancery Lane Underground station in London, featuring a group of friends waiting for a Central line train to. To make use of their time, they star playing a of “phantom” ping pong.
As the video goes on, the action gets better and better, as the two competitors space out across half the length of the train station as they creatively moved back and forth against each other to the delight of the crowd.
