I consider myself as an avid fan and follower of “The Walking Dead,” one of the most popular post-apocalyptic horror drama television series in the United States, but one of the most interesting version the series that caught my attention, is the Filipino adaptation of the series which went viral after it was posted online. The Bisaya version of “The Walking Dead,” already garnered thousand of views and shared heavily on various social networking sites.

The humorous video adaptation of the Frank Darabont developed TV series is now making the rounds online and shared by thousands of people, not only those who understands the Visayan language but for those netizens who really loved Filipino ingenuity.

The original version of the series, “The Walking Dead,” is a comic book series originally written by Robert Kirkman, Tony Moore, and Charlie Adlard. Meanwhile in the Philippines, the humorous version of “The Walking Dead” was produced by XTian Productions.

One of the most interesting part of the Visayan version of The Walking Dead titled “Zombie Slash Wack” is the language barrier of the main characters, the leading lady could only speak English while the leading man was speaking on his own dialect.
