Nash Aguas Reacts To Success Of “Bagito”

The rising teen actor of kapamilya network Nash Aguas was made to react on the success of his newest TV series “Bagito,” which features also his onscreen partner Alexa Ilacad and Ella Cruz.

During the launching of his group “Gimme G’s” album, the former “Goin’ Bulilit” star said that he didn’t expect that “Bagito” will drew a lot of viewers since it was just shortly promoted.

“Sobrang nakakatuwa po and pressured po kasi sobrang taas ng ratings 27.2 Hindi ko po ini-expect na ganoon karami ang manonood kahit sobrang ikli lang ng promotions at ura-urada ang pag-ere namin,” he said.

The pilot episode of “Bagito” aired on Monday, November 17, 2014 garnered a nationwide ratings of 27.2, according to Kantar Media. During that day, it became also the fourth most watched TV program across the country.

The 16-year-old actor also said that a lot of people are calling him “Bagito” and he was glad about it because many were hooked to his character, proving that he is portraying his role well.

“Siguro po ‘yung pagbabago ‘yung tingin sa akin ng ibang tao, ‘yung nakikita nila na Bagito po ang tawag sa akin siguro nahu-hook sila sa character ko doon sa ‘Bagito,'” he said.

“Bagito,” which is based on the Wattpad story written by Noreen Capili, also stars Angel Aquino, Ariel Rivera and Agot Isidro. It is directed by Jojo Saguin and Onat Diaz and airs from Monday to Friday before the news program “TV Patrol.”
