The Philippine National Football Team, Philippine Azkals will return to the Asean Football Federation (AFF) Suzuki Cup, one of the major football event in the region this coming Saturday, November 22, 2014. The Philippine Azkals released the official line-up of the team including the officials which will guide the Azkals to victory.

This year’s host of the AFF Suzuki Cup is one of the region’s powerhouse football nation, Vietnam, the same team that the Philippines made a huge upset during the 2010 edition of the game which catapulted the Azkals prominence in the region.
The Philippine Azkals most unforgettable victory was during the December 5, 2010 AFF Suzuki Cup wherein the country made huge upset over Vietnam with their 2-nil victory in front of the hostile Vietnamese crowd numbering more than 40,000 spectators.
During the 2010 AFF Suzuki Cup, Vietnam was the defending champion but a victory for the Azkals eliminated the former champion from the final round of the tournament. The game was also held at the Dinh National Stadium in Hanoi, Vietnam, this year’s venue of the AFF Suzuki Cup.
Before the highly anticipated rematch of the Philippine Azkals and Vietnam this November 28, 2014, the Philippines is scheduled to face Laos on Saturday, followed by Indonesia on November 25, 2014 during the Group Stage of the AFF Suzuki Cup 2014.
