Hollywood star and Australian actor Chris Hemsworth who played the role of avenger “Thor” in one of Hollywood’s box office movie, was named as the “World’s Sexiest Man Alive” according to the announcement made by the US Magazine People on Thursday. The recognition was released to the public during late night US TV show hosted by Jimmy Kimmel on ABC and in the magazine itself.

The 31-year-old Chris Hemsworth was speaking from Australia during the announcement on live TV, he was toyed with playful yes-or-no questions from the American TV audience during the show.
The Australian Hollywood star is currently married to Spanish actress Elsa Pataky and they have three children, he was so grateful with the magazine’s recognition and thanked his parents for raising him for the past few years.
Chris Hemsworth will be featured as the 35th “Sexiest Man Alive” cover in one of America’s most popular magazine with worldwide circulation.
Although Chris Hemsworth didn’t have any major movie release for the year 2014, he got a lot on his plate for next year including the next avengers film and the leading role in Ron Howard’s “In the Heart of the Sea.”
The latest issue of People magazine featuring Chris Hemsworth as it’s cover will hit newsstands on Friday, November 20, 2014.
