The 24-year-old beauty queen asked for prayers and support from her fellow Filipinos during her appearance in one of the most popular morning show in the country, “Umagang Kay Ganda.”
Valerie Weigmann noted during the interview that it’s her first time to join an international beauty pageant, which will feature the reigning Miss World title holder Miss Megan Young of the Philippines.
According to German-Filipino actress and model, Valerie Weigmann, she hopes for a back-to-back victory after Megan Young won the Miss World 2013 title in Indonesia last year.
Valerie Weignmann then revealed that she will bring her “lucky charm” to London for the beauty pageant, which is a rosary. The Miss World Philippines 2014 winner Valerie Weigmann was quoted as saying “May rosary ako galing sa mommy ko. I always bring it with me. ‘Yun siguro ang lucky charm ko and, of course, my supporters,” she stated.
