The leading film production company in the country, Star Cinema has released the full trailer of the upcoming romantic-comedy film “Past Tense,” starring the box-office royalties Kim Chiu, Xian Lim and Comedy Queen Ai-Ai de las Alas.
The nearly three-minute video uploaded to Star Cinema’s official YouTube channel shows Ai-Ai de las Alas’ character which was brought back several years ago and will meet her younger self in the past, played by Kim Chiu.
After regretting some decisions that she made in the past, she will be on a mission to convince her younger self to give her best friend, portrayed by Xian Lim, a chance to be his boyfriend, hoping that they would end up together in the future.
The upcoming movie will mark the third big screen tandem of Kim Chiu and Xian Lim. They first worked for a movie together in the film adaptation of Ramon Bautista’s best-seller book “Bakit Hindi Ka Crush Ng Crush Mo” in 2013.
It will also be their first project with the comedian and actress who is famous for her box-office films “Tanging Ina.” Ai-Ai de las Alas last movie was “Kung Fu Divas” with kapuso actress Marian Rivera.
“Past Tense,” which also stars the “Pinoy Big Brother: All In” Big Winner Daniel Matsunaga, is directed by Mae Cruz-Alviar, who also directed their box-office film “Bride For Rent.”
Star Cinema will release the much-awaited movie in theaters nationwide on November 26,2014.
