The kapamilya actor Jericho Rosales confirmed that Xian Lim will replace John Lloyd Cruz in the upcoming ABS-CBN TV series with working title “Bridges,” which also stars Maja Salvador.

In an interview with PEP, the former “Legal Wife” actor admitted that he was saddened since he missed the chance on working with the box-office actor, but he understand that he has his own reasons.
“Of course, I’m very, very sad. But I understand certain things…details that I cannot mention. The opportunity na makatrabaho si John Lloyd, maraming tao na nalungkot,” he said.
Jericho Rosales also shared that he is flattered, knowing that Xian Lim thinks very highly of him. He added that the actor has already his expressed his excitement to work on the project.
“Si Xian kasi approached me and told me, ‘Excited ako makatrabaho ka. It’s an honor. Since Xian is on board, honestly, hindi ko pa alam kung ano ang final decision ng management but Xian has expressed his excitement and I heard that he’s been working hard on the role,” he added
John Lloyd Cruz said in his past interviews that he cannot work for the series since his contract with the kapamilya network has ended in October, the start of shooting for the soap. He has yet to decided if he will going to renew his contract with his home network.
The production unit of the “Bridges,” Star Creatives has yet to give further details about the series, including the target premiere date.
