The kapamilya actress and host Alex Gonzaga admitted that she does not want her sister, the “Ulitmate Multimedia Star” Toni Gonzaga to tie the knot yet with her boyfriend, director Paul Soriano.
In a press conference of “The Voice of the Philippines” Season 2, the “Pure Love” actress said that she wants Paul Director to be the husband of her sister but she does not want them to get married yet.
“Siyempre gusto ko si Paul na ang mapangasawa niya pero kung kelan ‘yun depende na sa kanila. Sana ‘wag pa muna,” she said.
With a lot of celebrity engagement proposal happening this year, Toni Gonzaga and Paul Soriano are one of the couples who were persistently asked about getting married since they have already been together for seven years.
A lot of people expected also that the “Thelma” director will propose to Toni Gonzaga during her 15th Anniversary concert, dubbed as “Celestine” at the SM Mall of Asia Arena earlier this month. However, it did not happen.
Paul Soriano explained earlier in his interviews that he will propose “very soon” but he will not do it in front of the media, adding that he still needs a lot of planning to do before asking the singer-actress for marriage.
Alex Gonzaga shared also a one simple reason why she doesn’t want Toni Gonzaga to walk down the aisle yet. “Kasi kakatayo lang nung kwarto namin. Bago pa lang eh kaya ayaw kong maiwan mag-isa,” she said.
