The actor and former “Star Magic” artist Bernard Palanca has yet to reach out to the father of his girlfriend Jerika Ejercito, former president and now Manila City mayor Joseph “Erap” Estrada.
In an interview aired on “The Buzz” on Sunday, Erap Estrada said she did not yet meet the “Hawak Kamay” star, adding that he also didn’t make any effort to reach him out. “I don’t know anything about it. No [I haven’t met him yet], no [efforts to reach out]. I don’t know,” he said.
This comes after Joseph Estrada reportedly disapproves the relationship of her daughter with Bernard Palanca. When asked if it is true that he has yet to accept the actor, the politician said: “Anong tatanggapin? Nag-e-enroll ba? Meron na silang pamilya ‘yun. Bahala na sila.”
Erap Estrada gave also a short but meaningful message to Benard Palanca when asked by the entertainment press. He said: “Goodluck.”
Last week, Bernard Palanca and Jerika Ejercito made their first public appearance, more than five months they welcomed their first child. They watched the fashion show of Metro Magazine featuring the works of Cary Santiago.
According to the couple, the reaction of Erap Estrada is just normal as a father and they are hoping that things between them will be okay in the right time. Bernard Palanca also said that he is determined to prove his self to his girlfriend’s daughter.
