Nicholas Walters Knocked Out Nonito Donaire at 6th Round (Highlights Video)

Undefeated Jamaican boxer, Nicholas Walters knocked out Nonito “The Filipino Flash” Donaire at the sixth round of their Featherweight showdown on Saturday (Sunday in Manila) in Carson, California. Nonito Donaire suffered the third loss of his entire career in a stunning fashion, with just seconds to go in the sixth round.

Nicholas Walters whose nicked as the “Axe Man,” showcased his boxing skills and proved to be too strong against Nonito Donaire. He was able to connect a huge overhand right jab with less than ten seconds to go in the 6th round that sent the Filipino champion, Donaire sprawling to the canvas.

The Danaire vs. Walters boxing match was stopped by the referee at the sixth round although Nonito Donaire was able to get up at nine seconds left and the referee awarded Walters with a TKO over Donaire at the 2:59 mark of the said round.

The Jamaican boxer improved his boxing record with a total of 25 wins with no losses, featuring a total of 21 victories coming by knockout. Walters win over Donaire is hi s most celebrated victory on his entire career as a boxer.

Nonito Donaire on the other hand dropped his records to 33 wins and 3 losses, his stunning defeat against Walters is his first stoppage loss of his boxing career. Donaire was in control in the first two rounds of the boxing match but he was caught with an uppercut at the third and knocked by Walters out at the sixth for a statement victory.
