The “Starstruck” alumna Nadine Samonte revealed her secret marriage to businessman, Richard Chua. She has been married to her husband for one year before she confirmed their wedding.
In an exclusive interview with PEP, the Kapuso star said that they got married on October 31, last year. The wedding was held at a farm owned by Richard Chua’s mother, former actress Izabel Raves, in Zambales.
Nadine Samonte said that they are just waiting for the right time to tell everyone about their wedding, adding that they wanted to enjoy their private life.
“Kasi nga, we’re waiting for the right time, Halos lahat nga sa family ko ay wala din dun, iilan lang. Nandun din ang family niya, pero hindi kumpleto lahat. Yun nga, para ma-enjoy namin yung privacy,” she said.
According to Nadine Samonte, they became a couple one week after they met, and Richard Chua proposed after three months. After six moths of being engaged, they decided to get married.
The 26-year-old star shared that they became mature after they tied the knot. She also admitted that they are planning to have a baby.
“Iba yung adjustments noong mag-boyfriend-girlfriend pa. Pero ngayon, mas okay, kasi mas mature na. ’Tapos heto, tuloy pa rin ang plano—career, baby, negosyo… Basta, dire-diretso pa rin,” she said.
Nadine Samonte and Richard Chua is set to fly to Bali, Indonesia on October 28 for their second honeymoon. Their first honeymoon was held in Hong Kong.
